First Days in Israel

YAY we are in Israel!!!! We just got here and it is super fun! our plane was a bit bumpy but otherwise pretty good. I didn’t sleep at all but I am ok for now. Then we got to the airport and met our madrichim, they are very nice. We then took a bus to school. Our building is SO NICE! we aren’t in the same building that they had last year on TIF but I think ours is newer and better. We then had a bunch of boring meetings and got our Israeli phones. They are so small and CUTE! Little nokia phones with the best game ever…….SNAKE. We had our first dinner in the chadar ochel, it was pretty bad. Today (Thursday) we had another bunch of boring meetings and we had our first core class. My teacher is Danny who is a really hard grader I hear. Then we had lunch, (breakfast was good) it was much better than dinner. For dinner Hanna, Adi, Jake, and I went into town. I love hod hasharon! It is so cute and there are plenty of places to eat however the menus are in Hebrew! We couldn’t understand like anything besides bread….oh well. We have our nightly meeting very soon and then we go to bed at 11:30pm. WE NEVER SLEEP!!!! But it is still super fun. Our dorms, cafeteria, and classrooms are all within like 20 feet. Its great! What else………um…..the candy here is really good and our room has a stash already. We have five girls in our room. (Hanna, Ariela, Sofia, and Cassie) and its a bit cramped but very nice. I have to go pack for jerusalem. We are leaving tomorow for the weekend, but no sundays i am going to miss that day a lot. Like a long lost friend, got to go. See ya!

Figuring out how to use the blog

This is my first time on this blog! I just finished packing for Israel and I am really excited to go!!! I can’t wait! I have four roommates and we are going to have the best time EVER! I hope this works….
